Second announcement

The eleventh International Conference on Technology in Mathematics Teaching, ICTMT11, organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bari Aldo Moro and the Department of Mathematics “Giuseppe Peano” at the University of Torino, will be held in Bari (Italy) on July 9-12, 2013.

  • Curriculum: The impact of technology on the mathematics curriculum

  • Assessment: New possibilities for assessment in mathematics

  • Students: Technology to motivate and support students to learn mathematics

  • Teachers: Technology for mathematics teachers’ professional development

  • Innovation: New developments in technology for learning and teaching mathematics

  • Applications: Technology as a bridge between mathematics and other subjects

  • Software: Design, evaluate and choose software to learn and teach mathematics

  • Submission of proposals – February 10th 2013
  • Notification of acceptance – April 15th 2013
  • Early registration – April 30th 2013
  • Normal registration – May 31st 2013
  • Late registration – At the Conference Site

Submissions

Submissions are invited for papers, of up to 6 pages, addressing the Conference Themes.
Please submit your proposal sending the paper, in both .doc and .pdf, and indicating no more than two related Conference Themes, to: sc_ictmt11@dm.uniba.it

The submitted papers must be formatted as follows:

  • Write the paper in English using Times 12-point font, 14-point line space, and 6 points between paragraphs; occupying a frame of 170 by 247 mm. Use the ICTMT11_ template.
  • Type and centre the title (in 14 point bold capitals), author(s) name(s) (in 12 point), and affiliation(s) of author(s) (in 12 point italics) in this order; all in Times. Underline the name of the author(s) who will attend the ICTMT11
  • Begin the paper with an abstract of up to ten lines, in italics.
  • Give references in the APA style
